One of the great neighborhood Italian mainstays. I love coming back to Brooklyn and having a real Italian meal here!

Visited here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and we had gobs of food (they even had leftovers). The garlic bread with real chunks of garlic was just so delicious, I scraped the garlic off a few pieces just to get more of that flavor. Salad was good; croquettes were fantastic, mozzarella sticks were pretty good but I really loved the pasta/sauce. For the entree, I selected the chicken francese. It was pretty good but I've had better. Otherwise, attentive service, quick to refill all items and accommodating of all meal requests.

This was one of the absolute best Italian restaurants I have been to in NYC! The staff was very friendly, courteous, and cordial throughout. The food absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection - everything we ordered! I would highly recommend La Palina if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed!

Hi Nick, Yes it is the same La Palina that was on Navy Street. We moved to to Avenue O in the 1950s.

One level bathroom might be tight

All the same and the food is the same, if not better (if that is even possible to get better when they are great to begin with). Enjoy your meal!

Yes as Frank pointed out opens at noon. Lunch or Dinner always fabulous (for real Italian food)

They do Xmas dinner BUT, here is the BUT booked solid for years, same people, every year pretty much a standing reservation that's starts around September...I'm , well, let's say, on the list to get on the list to get on the reservation list and thats cause I'm friends with the owners and family that work there, been going there since I was about 15 years old with friends and still go there with my family regularly...lol Can't hurt to call and ask though Good luck and enjoy your xmas
